Marcon Fellows
The Marcon Institute was established through a gift from Charlie Marcon in 2021. The Institute’s core activity is to prepare and deploy scholars, the Marcon Fellows , who show dedication to research that influences perspectives, practices, and policies on racial justice. Students selected as Marcon Fellows will spend the summer working on faculty-led projects in the areas of social justice, race, and racism in the Lehigh Valley. The ideal project would involve a small group of students working in a way that connects with a Lehigh Valley community organization to enhance the work of that organization in social justice, anti-racism, or related areas. Selected students will earn $4,000 each for ten weeks.
